Daniela Chea, Walk Chair said: Sometimes it’s impossible for me to understand how my son Andrew will be 24 this year. Or that our family has participated in 21 walks since we moved to Boca Raton in 2003. Or that I went from a leisurely walker to DownRight ExtraOrdinary Walk Chair who has to get up at 4:00 a.m. every year to help manage the event! But I love doing it. It’s my way of thanking the Gold Coast Down Syndrome Organization for all they have given Andrew. They have fought for his rights, helped him receive the best education, and given him and our family a supportive community of friends. I have personally raised over $150,000 for Gold Coast because I know that they are a life changing organization for people with Down syndrome.
