Hooters of Fort Lauderdale is hosting a Bake Sale to support breast cancer research.

his October, the Hooters locations in South Florida are offering the community five ways to Give a Hoot for Breast Cancer Research.

The 2025 Hooters Calendar is now available at your local Hooters. $1 from every calendar supports breast cancer research. The Hooters of South Florida locations are also holding fundraising events for local families to enjoy and while raising funds for breast cancer research throughout the entire month of October. Pink themed fundraisers include bake sales, jeep nights, pink pumpkins, corn hole tournament plus you can buy pink drinks where Hooters will donate $1 of every limited-edition drink, round up your check or donate a $1 or more and have your name on a endowment card to hang in the restaurant or take home.

Weston: Bake Sale (2282 Weston Road, Weston)

Hialeah: Pink Fire Truck and Bake Sale (680 w. 49TH Street, Hialeah, FL 33012)

Friday, October 25 to Sunday, October 27

Doral: Bake Sale and Pumpkin Patch (8695 NW 13TH Terrace, Miami, FL 33126)

Tuesday, October 29

Fort Lauderdale: Bake Sale (6345 N. Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale)

The calendar is available at all South Florida Hooters locations. $1 of every Hooters Calendar sold supports the Kelly Jo Dowd Breast Cancer Research Fund benefiting the V Foundation for Cancer Foundation Research as part of the “Give a Hoot” fundraising efforts in October. Kelly Jo Dowd, an original Hooters Girl, the 1995 Hooters Calendar Cover Girl and Hooters first female General Manager in Palm Harbor succumbed to breast cancer in 2007. The calendar has raised over one million dollars. The first Hooters Calendar was released fall 1985, two years after the first Hooters opened. Every calendar includes $100 in coupons and includes a free domestic draft. The 2025 Hooters Calendars are available for $16 at any Hooters of South Florida location.
