IGNITE, Broward County’s new immersive, family-friendly art experience, kicks off on Wednesday, January 26 at the Museum of Discovery and Science at 5:30pm.
· Join Michael Udine, Broward County Mayor; Phillip Dunlap, Director of Broward County Cultural Division; Joe Cox, President & CEO of MODS; along with Marc Aptakin, Founder of MAD Studios and as they kickoff IGNITE.
· The kickoff event will feature breathtaking outdoor art, and light projections by Glowing Bulbs and MAD Labs and include food trucks, music and more to celebrate this must-see annual event.
· IGNITE is a FREE, five-day collaborative series and exhibition will debut Wednesday, January 26, 2022, and will run through Sunday, January 30, 2022.
· Each day, captivating indoor video, light and design exhibitions and installations from featured artists including David Carson, Susan Narduli and Edison Penafiel, will be on display at MAD Arts studios.
· Each night, breathtaking outdoor art, and light projections by Glowing Bulbs and MAD Labs will illuminate and activate Fort Lauderdale’s Esplanade Park and the Museum of Discovery of Science’s Atrium.
