Impact the Palm Beaches will host the 6th Annual Impact Awards Celebration virtually this year on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. Although the event will look different, this special event will still award high impact grants to nonprofit organizations in Palm Beach County in order to continue making a lasting impact on the community.
The 2020 Impact Grant Presentation is an exciting evening during which finalists present their request for funding to the members, a vote is taken, and awards are distributed. With each member contributing $1,000 to the Impact grant, together we will award one or more $100,000 Impact Grant. Semi-finalists will receive a Merit Grant. The finalists who will be competing for this life-changing grant will be announced in early March. Over the last five years, Impact the Palm Beaches has awarded $670,000 in transformational giving to the community.
Impact the Palm Beaches is also excited to announce that Wendy Steele, the founder and CEO of Impact100 as well as the creator of the Impact100 model will be the keynote speaker during this virtual celebration.
Impact members each contribute $1,000 annually and award at least one $100,000 Impact grant to a local non-profit organization allowing for a significant grant to one organization rather than several smaller gifts. Impact grants fund the following service areas: Arts & Culture; Education; Environment; Health & Wellness; and Family. Impact the Palm Beaches $100,000 Impact Grant Awardees have included: Center for Trauma Counseling, Center for Child Counseling, Project L.I.F.T., Palm Beach Dramaworks, and LIVE Fresh.
