Children of all ages will enjoy a free, family-friendly, Livin’ La Vida Duck Fest-themed festival filled with “quacky” activities in the KID Fun Zone including the KID Olympics, face painting, petting zoo, live entertainment, delicious food trucks, and a meet & greet with KID’s duck mascot, Splash. Then 40,000 rubber ducks will be dropped in the New River to race during the 16th Annual KID Duck Fest Derby presented by JM Family Enterprises, Inc. Community members can buy entries in the race by forming “Duck Teams” or adopting individual ducks for $5 each for a chance to win one of our fabulous prizes including the grand prize of $10,000 cash or better yet…$1,000,000. 100% of the proceeds of duck sales benefit 20,000+ children and families served by KID.
