This training will describe the uneven reading developmentprofile of children with ASD and provide educators strategies fortargeting specific emergent-conventional literacy skills thatpromote reading comprehension proficiency during theformative preschool-elementary school years.Recommendations for partnering with interdisciplinary teammembers and parents to enhance instruction across settingswill also be provided.
