Noon Year's Eve event
Beginning at 11:30 a.m. on December 31, experience an exciting and magical holiday time with POMP, SNOW & CIRQUEumstance! Adapted from the award-winning book and Telly Award-winning holiday film, POMP, SNOW & CIRQUEumstance takes audiences on an exhilarating journey alongside three best friends who master music, magic and circus skills for the holiday season at a secret university before sharing their talents with the world. Then, dance in the New Year at our Noon Year’s Eve ball drop sponsored by Dunkin’.
South Florida’s award-winning attraction featuring 150,000 square feet of dynamic science exhibits, an outdoor science park, a live animal collection, a rotating schedule of science shows, learning labs, café, store and a grand atrium featuring the Great Gravity Clock, a 52-foot-tall kinetic energy sculpture; the largest clock in Florida. The showpiece of the museum since 1993, this unique timepiece is one of only three in the world.
Children can also visit MODS’ newest traveling exhibit “Thomas & Friends™: Explore the Rails!” Rail. The exhibit was created by the Minnesota Children’s Museum in partnership with Mattel, Inc. and is nationally presented by Fisher-Price.
The Museum of Discovery and Science is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. All activities are included with Museum admission.
