Join the Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS) for a FREE Virtual Save Our Seas Distinguished Speaker Series “Sea Turtle Experts Panel Discussion” to be held Thursday, March 4 at 6 p.m. via Zoom.
• Join us for the Virtual Save Our Seas Distinguished Speaker Series, presented by the Save Our Seas Foundation, for an engaging panel discussion on sea turtles.
• A pair of MODS' Turtle Walk tickets will be given away during the presentation.
• The Distinguished Speakers are Mariana Fuentes, associate professor in the Department of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences at Florida State University; Kelly Stewart, research scientist at The Ocean Foundation; Kelly Martin, president of Florida Leatherbacks, Inc. and program coordinator at the Marine Environmental Education Center (MEEC); and Kate Mansfield, associate professor and director of the Marine Turtle Research Group at University of Central Florida.
• The Save Our Seas Distinguished Speaker Series invites science and conservationists of all ages to learn from internationally acclaimed biologists, scientists, conservationists, researchers and educators about new ways of thinking and marine-related preservation topics.
• Save Our Seas Foundation funds and supports research, conservation and education projects worldwide, focusing primarily on charismatic threatened wildlife and their habitats.
