Being Somebody – Growing Up in Brooklyn…a Father-Daughter Tale
BEING SOMEBODY stars the extraordinary 88-year-old psychologist/executive coach, Dr. Howard Mase, alongside his talented recording artist/playwright/actor daughter, Marla Mase. Through masterful storytelling, music, and song, this father/daughter tour de force takes us back in time to their formative years, Howard growing up as a skinny Jewish kid in Brooklyn’s post war gleam of the 1940s, and Marla navigating the gritty disco era of the 1970’s. This magical show evokes laughter, tears, and heartfelt memories of the moments that matter and help us become who we are.
