Plant-powered dining is an amazing experience. And Planta Queen is ready to tempt your taste buds.
This new Fort Lauderdale restaurant — which has a sister restaurant in West Palm Beach — is helmed by Executive Chef David Lee who created a menu highlighting Asian dishes inspired by his childhood and travels.
“PLANTA Queen’s core promise is to offer an elevated plant-based dining experience with a focus on environmental sustainability, using locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible. In turn, the restaurant not only celebrates plant-based eating, but champions the lifestyle as a means to better our collective health, community, and planet,” explains a press release.
Adds Steven Salm, Founder & CEO: “Chef David Lee creates dishes that are full of bold Asian flavors and spices, paired with incredible cocktails.”
The menu includes Crispy Rice topped with spicy ahi watermelon and avocado, Unagi Eggplant Nigiri and several sushi selections. The Wok & Noodles section features items including Udon Noodles with truffle mushroom cream topped with shaved black truffle and Dan Dan Noodles with Szechuan kamut, gai lan, coconut milk and cilantro.
Planta Queen is located at 1201 E. Las Olas Blvd. Fort Lauderdale. For more information, visit plantarestaurants.com.
