And now for something new and exciting: Baia Beach Club, dubbed the new living room on the beach, is open.
The Miami Beach waterfront restaurant has it all: bar, lounge and pool deck. Part of a $20-million, property-wide renovation of the Mondrian South Beach, the chic eatery serves breakfast, lunch and dinner indoors, in an open-air living room, poolside or by the bay.
The club was “inspired by the laid back bohemian energy, casual chic, and welcoming multicultural spirit of Mediterranean coastal living,” notes the website.
Chef Paolo Dorigato created a menu showcasing Mediterranean fare (think salads, breads and spreads like tzatziki, hummus and baba ghanoush) along with hand-rolled sushi and rotisserie chicken as well as La Festa, a Sunday brunch, featuring a Mediterranean spread as well as á la carte choices.
The libations are just as lovely, including the Spicy Tropical Sour (jalapeño infused tequila, mezcal, pineapple and lemon) and frozen cocktails like the Passion Fruit Sgroppino (passion fruit sorbet infused with Contratto, spicy ginger and Prosecco).
Baia Beach Club is located at the Mondrian South Beach, 1100 West Ave., Miami Beach. For more information, call 305-514-1949 or visit baiabeachclubmiami.com.
