Stephen Asprinio is always thinking ahead to the next meal. Lucky for us, because the restaurateur — the creative behind 1000 North, Beacon, Lucky Shuck, Topside and The Tacklebox — has just opened a new eatery in Juno Beach.
Dubbed AquaGrille and helmed by Executive Chef Peter Bartalini, it offers a “modern and inventive menu that is Americana by nature, but also draws culinary influences from Latin America, Asia and the tropics, with an array of regional classics,” according to a press release.
On the menu: locally sourced and seasonal ingredients, with signature offerings including Tuna Ceviche Tostaditos with tequila-spiked shots of tropical “leche de pantera,” Raw Oysters with a guanábana mignonette and pickled mango and Caribbean Mussels with vadouvan curry and lacquered shiitakes. Also available: Chitwood-grilled steaks, composed salads and a selection of plant-based creations.
The beach house-inspired décor — along with lush greenery — is designed to enhance the eatery’s chill vibe.
“As guests enter the space, the idea is to transcend them somewhere unexpected and captivating, while still being representative of the locale of Juno Beach,” Asprinio noted in a press release.
Libations run the gamut — from old-school favorites like the Cosmopolitan and the Cable Car as well as a wine program and more than 25 beers on tap.
AquaGrille is located at 14121 U.S. Highway 1 in Juno Beach. For more information, visit aquagrillejuno.com.
