The motto of MK Takeaways is simple: “Started in our kitchen, finished in yours.”
The concept sounds modest, but the result is anything but. The Sunrise business delivers fresh, made-from-scratch meals to Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties – and there’s no shortage of tempting choices.
“We designed MK Takeaways to deliver both pleasure and convenience, without sacrificing quality,” says Michael Stanley, who co-owns the business with his wife, Karen, according to a press release.
“We have an eye on the past, when cooking from scratch was the standard, and a view to the future, where convenience is key and quality is a must.”
The duo also owns Yummy in My Tummy, an organic and natural school-lunch program serving about 90 schools in South Florida.

Michael, who honed his skills at the Culinary Institute of America, creates seasonally inspired dishes, available in single and family-size servings, guaranteed to stay fresh if refrigerated up to six days from delivery. All you need to do is heat up your meal and dig in.
The selection of starters, soups, salads and entrées includes the Spinach & Artichoke Dip, Bayou Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Salmon Burger and Broccoli Rabe & Sausage Orecchiette. And don’t forget dessert: Choose from options like the Dulce de Leche Pot de Creme, Sea Salt Brownies, Malted Chocolate Cheesecake and more.
