Alex Mantecon and Emi Guerra, Miami locals and founders of Breakwater Hospitality Group have done it again. The business partners recently opened Regatta Grove at the new Regatta Harbour development in Coconut Grove.
The open-air gathering spot offers guests amazing water views of Biscayne Bay and five culinary outposts featuring an eclectic selection of food offerings.
There is Sunny Side Up Aussie Bites by Chef Janine Booth whose menu features Aussie pies, sausage rolls and empanadas, as well as avocado toast, salads and fruit-filled sorbets and ice creams. Tackle Box by Chef Jeff McInnis, a native Florida fisherman turned chef, serves up everything from local fish tail sliders to chilled stone crab and caviar. The PieFather by Chef José Mendín isn’t your basic pizza joint. It offers specialty pizza made with fresh dough and imported Italian toppings. House of Birds Drop Biscuits by Chef Kenny Gilbert is where guests can indulge in his signature fried chicken and artisanal drop biscuit sandwiches, along with an assortment of salads and sides. And finally, if you’re craving a burger, but not just any burger, drop by JJ’s (Guilty Pleasures) by Chef Jeremy Ford. There you’ll find a variety of smashed patties, along with battered onion rings, crispy truffle fries and sauces for dipping.
Feeling like just a drink? The Regatta has three outdoor bars, offering premium spirits, wine and beer. There also are multiple decks, direct access to the marina and even a place for guests to dock who would like to arrive by boat.
