Moxie’s (now Moxies) has dropped the apostrophe from its name and added another new South Florida location: This one along Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale. The Canadian-based restaurant chain offers guests a modern-chic and contemporary dining experience featuring two indoor-outdoor bars with a lounge, dining areas and covered patios — perfect for people-watching. It’s the chain’s second Florida restaurant, the other is in Miami’s Brickell area.
“We believe that this exceptional space will provide an interactive atmosphere, great food, drinks and hospitality for our guests,” says Paul Randle, president and CEO of Eatz Inc. and franchise owner.
The menu spans the globe. For Japanese lovers there’s the Tuna Sushi Stack. Prefer a taste of Mexico? Try the Chipotle Mango Chicken. The Salmon and Avocado Cobb Salad is a summer favorite. Where’s the beef? Try the Steak Bites, made with marinated sirloin and horseradish aioli.
There’s also an expansive drink menu with handcrafted cocktails and a sommelier-curated wine list. The drinks are just as international as the food. The Fusion Fashioned is curated with Toki Japanese whisky, Knob Creek rye, cane syrup, double bitters, orange and lemon peels; Millionaire Margarita is prepared with Herradura Legend añejo, Grand Marnier Cuvée Louis Alexandre, organic agave and freshly pressed lime and the Spicy Mango Margarita is made with Ghost tequila, Reál mango and fresh lime juice.
Daily Happy Hour runs from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. with the addition of half-priced bottles of wine on Wednesdays. And sports fans can stop in to view one of the more than 20 TVs.
