If you’re in the mood for a mouth-watering burger, look no further than June. Following the successful launch of his innovative Wagyu burger concept June at Julia & Henry’s, James Beard Award semifinalist Jose Mendín opened the stand-alone location in Dadeland.
Rooted in his Puerto Rican heritage, Mendín says he wanted to transform the classic burger into a representation of Miami’s cultural diversity.
“I wanted to create burgers that each have their own personality with vastly different flavors,” says Mendín.
And that he did. The menu features six premium burgers, all made with Wagyu beef that are so thick and juicy it may be hard to wrap your mouth around one. From the classic burger topped with lettuce, tomato, cheddar and sunny sauce to the Shiitake San with braised shiitake mushrooms, black garlic and tofu aioli, there’s a flavor for everyone.
Mendín takes burger lovers around the world with Le Parisienne, topped with onion confit, demi-glace, gruyere melt and thyme aioli. Or try the Big Kahuna topped with kimchee, charred pineapple, hoisin glaze, Hawaiian sauce and house pickles.
The beef can be replaced with an Impossible Burger for vegetarians.
The Dadeland location also offers Korean fried chicken and a tasty selection of french fries that include June Fries (purple, sweet and gold potato with sunny aioli) and Waffle Sweet Potato with marshmallow sauce.
June Dadeland is located at 8975 S.W. 72nd Court in Miami. For more information, visit juneburgers.com.
