Taqueria Coyo Taco is expanding. First stop: Fort Lauderdale, with an outpost planned for South Miami this month.
The new destinations will feature Coyo Tacos’ bold, traditional flavors and signature recipes including tacos, burritos, aguas frescas, made-from- scratch tortillas and guacamole prepared in house daily and smashed to order. Vegan and vegetarian options are also available including a plant-based chicken.
Both outposts will also serve up a lively atmosphere (DJs and more) along with more than 50 tequilas and mezcals — the Fort Lauderdale locale will also showcase a connecting indoor/outdoor bar.
“Staying true to its Todo es Fresco or ‘Everything Fresh’ philosophy, produce is locally sourced, meat and seafood are naturally raised and signature margaritas are made from scratch,” notes a press release.
The Fort Lauderdale spot — on trendy Las Olas Boulevard — has indoor and outdoor seating for 113. “There has always been a demand for COYO Taco to open in Lauderdale and we can’t wait to bring Miami vibes and our Mexican fare to the 954,” shares Co-Founder, Sven Vogtland.
Coyo Taco Fort Lauderdale is located at 401 E. Las Olas, Fort Lauderdale. The South Miami outpost will be located at 1514 S Dixie Highway, Coral Gables. For more information, visit coyo-taco.com
