One of Fort Lauderdale’s most popular outdoor venues has returned after a major facelift. The Wharf Fort Lauderdale closed its doors just after Labor Day and reopened a little more than a month later with a fresh look and a new culinary lineup.
First opened in 2019 as a pop-up, The Wharf has established itself as a trailblazer among open-air, waterfront bars. The updated venue features custom tile work, new bar tops and awnings, along with revamped tables and yard games.
A new feature, The O Ship Bar, will be serving classic Wharf-style cocktails. The signature flavored mojitos have returned along with new additions such as The Wharf Espresso Martinis.
Part of Breakwater Hospitality Group, The Wharf features dishes from the iconic Mexican restaurant Carlos & Pepe’s, Janken’s Pan-Asian and Korean Fusion cuisine, Smashies, featuring a variety of smashburgers and The Piefather, a pizza and Italian concept.
“Guests can expect the vibrant energy and sense of community The Wharf Fort Lauderdale is widely recognized for, now with a laid-back yet elevated look and new culinary offerings,” says Emi Guerra, co-founder of Breakwater Hospitality Group.
Adds Breakwater Co-founder Alex Mantecon: “The evolution of this concept and all of Breakwater Hospitality Group’s venues has helped shape hospitality in South Florida, creating spaces that celebrate waterfront living and bring people together.”
The Wharf Fort Lauderdale is located at 20 W. Las Olas Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale. For more information, visit wharfftl.com.
