Graspa Group, the award-winning hospitality firm behind some of South Florida’s most beloved Italian restaurants, has announced the opening of Casalina, a casual-chic Italian concept coming to Delray Beach. Slated to open on Oct. 25, this 6,000-square-foot venue marks Graspa Group’s expansion into Palm Beach County, bringing a taste of the Mediterranean coast of Italy to the local dining scene.
“We couldn’t be more excited to bring Casalina to the heart of Delray Beach,” says Angelo Masarin, chef and co-owner of Casalina. “After years of developing the Miami market, we wanted to find the perfect spot in Palm Beach County that would welcome our Italian roots in a way that felt natural to the existing community. Casalina brings together the best of Italian tradition and flavors and a touch of American accents, with the goal of making every guest feel at home.”
Seating up to 74 diners, the cozy dining room sets an elegant tone with crisp white tablecloths, while creating a serene, Mediterranean-inspired atmosphere with lush greenery cascading from the ceiling. The venue also features an intimate 20-seat bar and a 2,000-square-foot outdoor patio, anchored by a fragrant lemon tree, evoking the feeling of alfresco dining reminiscent of Capri.
Casalina’s menu, curated by Masarin and Chef Mattia Teagano, features Italian staples like homemade pasta, wood-fired pizza, risotto, fresh fish and prime meat with freshly sourced ingredients from local farms and producers in Italy.
Starters include options like Spanish Octopus Carpaccio and Smoked Duck Breast, while the wood-fired pizza selection offers standout choices like Eggplant and Bufala or Wild Mushrooms. Pasta highlights include Pappardelle Lamb Ragu, a rich dish of lamb slow cooked in tomato sauce, red wine and fresh herbs. Risotto lovers will enjoy the Risotto Milanese Revisit. For entrées, the Snapper Alla Livornese, served with lemon sauce and capers, and prime meats like the classic Veal Parmigiana or Milanese are classic favorites.
Casalina boasts an impressive wine list, featuring bottles from renowned Italian wineries as well as popular American cabs and chardonnays.
