Lefkes Estiatorio, a Mediterranean destination known for its elevated nightlife and traditional cuisine with a modern twist, is making waves in South Florida’s culinary landscape with the opening of its second U.S. location at Delray Beach Market on Friday, Aug. 2.
Helmed by Executive Chef Gregory Simpson, Lefkes Estiatorio will transport diners to the picturesque islands of Greece. Signature dishes include Lavraki (Grilled Whole Mediterranean Sea Bass), Charcoal & Wood Grilled Lamb Chops, Saganaki (fried Kefalograviera cheese with lemon, oregano and flamed with Metaxa Brandy), Charcoal Grilled Octopus, Sesame Crusted Tuna Salad, Zucchini & Eggplant Chips, Prime Steaks and more.
Delray Beach marks the fifth Lefkes Estiatorio location, following two in Athens, one in Santorini and one in Englewood Cliff, N.J. According to a press release, Georgia Dumas, the restaurant’s managing partner, had been eyeing the area for some time. “I spend a lot of time in South Florida, and I’ve seen Delray Beach emerge as a premier culinary destination over the years. I wanted Lefkes to be a part of this exciting and growing scene,” she says.
The restaurant also brings the festive vibes of Mykonos to the area, transforming into a vibrant nightlife spot featuring special performances on Friday and Saturday evenings, as well as an extensive list of creative cocktails. Signature drinks include Santorini Sunset, Mykonos Me Baby and Lefkes Delray, made with Volcan Blanco Tequila, fresh grapefruit juice, ginger-infused honey and Hawaiian black salt.
