Michelin-starred Chef Takashi Yagihashi and esteemed Chef Jonathan Fox are joining forces to bring a culinary treasure to Boca Raton’s Waterstone Resort & Marina.
Set to open in September, Kasumi will serve modern Japanese cuisine inspired by the ancient Japanese custom of “omotenashi,” a deep-rooted culture that emphasizes attention to detail and hospitality in the dining realm.
Long-time friends hailing from Chicago, Yagihashi and Fox bring over 60 years of combined experience in the hospitality industry. Yagihashi, who also won a James Beard Award for Best Chef: Midwest, boasts numerous appearances on “Iron Chef” and “Top Chef.” Chef Fox has overseen more than 20 different dining concepts.
Kasumi will bring Japan to Boca Raton through its omakase experience, meticulously curated by both chefs. The menu will feature grilled meats, tempura creations and creative cocktails, all in a modern indoor and outdoor setting with stunning views of Lake Boca Raton.
