Connecticut’s celebrated Mexican eatery, Geronimo Tequila Bar and Southwest Grill, is set to make its mark in South Florida with a new location in Delray Beach in 2025.
Renowned for bringing the authentic taste of Santa Fe, N.M., to its restaurants, Geronimo has earned its reputation by serving traditional dishes with ingredients sourced directly from the region. Diners can indulge in menu highlights such as traditional nachos served with sour cream, jalapeños, bell peppers and pico de gallo and a choice of cheese, grilled chicken, carnitas or vegetables. The taco selection features flavor-packed options like Pork Carnitas (braised and pulled pork topped with Mexican crema), Cauliflower Al Pastor (a vegetarian dish of stewed cauliflower served with pineapple habanero salsa) and Santa Fe (filled with smoked chicken).
For mains, enjoy Quinoa Chiles Rellenos, a vegetarian favorite made with Mexican cream, pico de gallo, black beans, smoked tomato, mushrooms, red quinoa and cheese. Meat lovers can order the Carne Asada Steak (paired with beans, avocado salad and mushrooms escabeche) or gather around the Mixed Grill Molcajete To Share, a sizzling lava rock featuring grilled steak, chicken, shrimp and chorizo, accompanied by black beans, grilled tomato, red onions, cheese and rice, all paired with warm tortillas.
No Mexican dining experience is complete without tequila, and Geronimo boasts a selection of more than 500 varieties of tequila and mezcal. The restaurant is one of the few establishments to receive the prestigious CRT Award T certification from the Mexican government’s Tequila Regulatory Council (CRT), a testament to its commitment to the rich history, evolution and tasting tradition of tequila. Diners can also enjoy creative cocktails, refreshing beer, wine and nonalcoholic beverages.
