A Legendary Tale

Bank of America Broadway in Fort Lauderdale Series, with presenting sponsor Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, have announced the premiere of the smash-hit Broadway show, “A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical,” at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, running from Jan. 21 to Feb. 2.

Created in collaboration with Neil Diamond himself, the American rock icon known for classics like “Forever in Blue Jeans” and “Sweet Caroline,” “A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical” tells the story of Diamond’s journey from a Brooklyn kid to a global chart-topping star. With more than 120 million albums sold, induction into the Songwriters and Rock and Roll Halls of Fame, a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and sold-out concerts around the world, Diamond’s story was destined to shine on Broadway.

“Some of my most thrilling nights have been while I was on tour, bringing my music to audiences across the world,” says Diamond. “Having ‘A Beautiful Noise’ go on tour is an honor, and I can’t wait for audiences across North America to experience this show. I hope they enjoy it as much as I have.”

Nick Fradiani, 2015 “American Idol” winner, plays “Neil Diamond – Then,” alongside Tony Award nominee Robert Westenberg as “Neil Diamond – Now.” The cast also features Hannah Jewel Kohn, Lisa Reneé Pitts, Michael Accrdo, Tuck Milligan, Kate A. Mulligan and Tiffany Tatreau.

Producer Ken Davenport adds: “Neil is one of the best live entertainers the world has ever seen. In his 50-year career, he’s performed for millions of fans around the globe. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect way to honor his legacy than having ‘A Beautiful Noise’ touring North America, visiting the same cities where he gave so many people so much joy. Now, after a successful Broadway run, good times never seemed so good as ‘A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical’ is in Fort Lauderdale making its premiere at the Broward Center in January 2025.”
