Summer school definitely isn't what it used to be: American Heritage School is proof of that.
The school, with Boca/Delray and Plantation campuses, recently unveiled its Online Summer Program, open to students across the country and the world. Students in Pre-K3 through grade 12 are invited to enroll in more than 100 live, interactive, online courses, taught by American Heritage teachers.
“In some areas of the U.S., children were left behind educationally due to COVID-19,” says Dr. Doug Laurie, president of American Heritage School and American Learning Systems, in a press release. “We at American Heritage School Online are happy to provide students in any location across the nation and abroad with a superior distance-learning education this summer from one of the highest-ranked private schools in the U.S.”
Intended for students of average to gifted intelligence, the paid courses include more than 75 college prep courses, pre-professional courses in American Heritage School’s Pre-Medical and Pre-Business programs, and a selection of seminar classes. Also available are live elementary classes with teachers and teacher assistants as well as one-on-one online tutoring sessions with American Heritage educators.
The first session is June 1-19, the second is June 22 through July 10, and the third is July 13-31.
