NY Prime, a premier steakhouse in Boca Raton, is joining forces with The Red Meat Lovers Club to host a memorable feast on July 9 in support of the Jordan Avi Ogman Foundation.
Since its inception in 2017, The Red Meat Lovers Club has raised over a million dollars for various charitable organizations throughout the country, including the Jordan Avi Ogman Foundation, which raises awareness and funds to save the life of Jordan Ogman, a 7-year-old with TECPR2, a fatal, neurodegenerative and debilitating genetic disease.
On July 9, diners will savor an exclusive menu curated by NY Prime, featuring delectable offerings such as lamb chops, baked shrimp, thick-cut bacon, rib cap on garlic toast, mini sliders, a carving station that includes Tomahawk steak, a shrimp with Alfredo sauce pasta and a butter cake for dessert. What’s more, a curated open bar will be available, as will a live auction that includes Napa Valley trips and a raffle for a bottle of Macallan 25-year-old whiskey.
“Stand up, sit down, cigar on the patio, belly up to the bar, you do you. One thing is for certain … a memorable night will take place for the Jordan Avi Ogman Foundation,” states the Red Meat Lovers Club.
The foundation aims to raise five million dollars, which will be used to accelerate research and develop a treatment and cure for TECPR2 through gene therapy at the University of Florida.
“Jordan is a rare disease warrior who is determined, resilient, bright and just the sweetest and funniest little boy. We can’t and won’t lose him to TECPR2,” said Jordan’s parents, David and Stacey Ogman. “This is a true race against the clock. This is a fatal disease, so the time is now to join us in saving Jordan’s life!”
