Everlasting Superstar

The Bank of America Broadway in Fort Lauderdale Series, presented by Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, has announced the arrival of the Tony Award-winning musical “The Cher Show” at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts from Nov. 19-24.

The show, featuring 35 of Cher’s greatest hits, chronicles the extraordinary life and career of the legendary star — spanning six decades of stardom, two rock-star husbands and a Grammy, Oscar and Emmy win, all in a fabulous musical that promises to have everyone on their feet.

“Superstars come and go. Cher is forever. For six straight decades, only one unstoppable force has flat-out dominated popular culture — breaking down barriers, pushing boundaries and letting nothing and no one stand in her way,” states a press release. “‘The Cher Show’ is the Tony Award-winning musical of her story, and it’s packed with so much Cher that it takes three women to play her: the bright-eyed kid starting out, the glam pop star and the icon.”
