Visit Lauderdale Food & Wine Festival (VLFWF), Broward County’s premier culinary celebration, is making a highly anticipated comeback from Jan. 13-19, featuring a week-long feast of epicurean experiences, star-studded talent and one-of-a-kind dinners that spotlight the vibrant flavors of the region.
With 35 immersive experiences, attendees can indulge in everything from interactive culinary classes and wine and cocktail seminars to captivating cooking demonstrations led by renowned chefs and local personalities, such as Fabio Viviani, Jason Smith, Alex Belew and Alexa Santos.
Among the standout events, “Bar Fight! A Spirited Competition” on Jan. 15, will bring together top mixologists for a high-energy showdown on a scenic Las Olas Boulevard rooftop. Not to be missed is “The Grand Tasting” on Jan. 18, a beloved festival tradition offering more than 100 food and beverage samplings, live entertainment and celebrity chef demonstrations.
The festival’s momentum carries into its final day on Jan. 19 with two coveted events. Food Network star Nancy Fuller, known for her warm hospitality and farm-to-table approach, will host a beachside brunch at Las Olas Oceanside Park, giving attendees the unique opportunity to savor coastal flavors in a relaxed, walk-around setting. Simultaneously, the family-friendly “Picnic In The Park” will welcome attendees to enjoy gourmet food trucks, hands-on culinary activities and local artisan vendors in a lively outdoor atmosphere.
Adding to the indulgence, some of Greater Fort Lauderdale’s finest restaurants will shine through VLFWF’s exclusive dinner series. Participants can kick off the event on Jan. 13 at Heritage, indulge in a collaborative dining experience on behalf of Evelyn’s and Miami favorite, Boia De, on Jan. 14 or explore the flavors of agave at Toro’s tequila-inspired dinner with Chef Juan Mateo on Jan. 16.
Beyond highlighting Broward County’s culinary scene, VLFWF also gives back to the community by donating a portion of its proceeds to Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, furthering its mission to support children and families in need.
