Passover, the Jewish holiday commemorating the Biblical story of the Israelites’ escape from slavery in Egypt begins on sundown April 5 and ends the evening of April 13. During that time, unleavened bread and avoid anything that contains flour is prohibited (a nod to the fleeing Jews who didn’t have time allow their bread to rise) There are plenty of traditional favorites enjoyed during the Seder (the festive meals celebrating the holiday). Matzo ball soup, gefilte fish and brisket come to mind. For those wanting to skip the prep work and just enjoy the meal, we’ve listed some great options to eat and order food from April 5-13.
