Best Foot Forward (BBF), a nonprofit based in Palm Beach County, will host its Sole Mates Luncheon on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at Boca West Country Club to celebrate another year of achievement as the only organization in the county dedicated to the educational success of foster and at-risk youth.
The community-based organization, dedicated to improving educational outcomes for abused, neglected, abandoned and at-risk youth living in and aging out of the Palm Beach County foster care system, offers participants the chance to become successful students and self-sufficient adults.
Danielle Rosse, owner of Deerfield Beach seafood restaurant Oceans 234, is this year’s Anchor Award recipient. According to a press release, the award is presented annually to recognize an individual for their distinguished work, tireless dedication and extraordinary contributions to children in foster care or at-risk in the BFF program.
“We hope to raise a significant amount of money to support student essentials such as birthday celebrations, field trip money, senior year activities, groceries, and college summer housing, which are often overlooked but are extremely important,” says BFF co-founder Donna Biase.
This year’s presenting sponsor is Vertical Bridge, the world’s first carbon-neutral tower company. Other top sponsors include Amy and Mike Kazma, LVL UP Fitness, Mainstreet Capital Partners, Oceans 234, Office Depot, Joan E. Schwartz, Bruce Rubinger and raffle sponsor Saks Fifth Avenue Boca Raton. The Boca Raton Observer is the event’s exclusive media sponsor.
All proceeds from ticket sales and sponsorships benefit the BFF program.
Sole Mates Luncheon is scheduled for Nov. 8 at 11:30 a.m. at Boca West Country Club, 20583 Boca W. Dr., Boca Raton. For more information, visit bestfoot.org.
