Entertainment icon and beloved singer-songwriter Billy Joel is set to dazzle South Florida this month. The anticipated performance is scheduled for Nov. 23 at the Hollywood Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
Known for his contributions to pop rock, Joel cemented his legacy as one of the 20th century’s most celebrated artists. With more than 180 million records sold globally, he ranks among the top-selling recording singers of all time. His compilation album, “Greatest Hits Vol. 1 & 2,” released in 1985, remains one of the nation’s bestsellers.
Throughout 34 award-winning studio albums and 82 singles, Joel has secured more than 40 appearances on the Billboard Hot 100 charts and has garnered 23 Grammy nominations since launching his career in 1972. Inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1999, he also received a Tony Award in 2003 for “Movin’ Out,” a Broadway musical based on his illustrious career. Following a record-breaking 10-year residency at New York’s Madison Square Garden, the legendary artist continues to shine with his ongoing tour, headlining 14 concerts and special performances alongside Sting and Stevie Nicks.
