It's that time of year again. Y100 has pulled out all the stops for its annual Jingle Ball.
The star-studded event, which can be experienced at the BB&T Center in Sunrise on Dec. 16 at 7 p.m., has been described as the biggest annual music event that captures the holiday spirit.
Set to take the stage: Shawn Mendes, Calvin Harris, Marshmello, Alessia Cara, Bebe Rexha, Khalid, Bazzi, Sabrina Carpenter and more. This will be the final stop on the tour - and the performers are sure to save the best for last.
Mendes, often described in one breath as a "singer-songwriter heartthrob," has a new outlook on life, he told W: "I feel like I grew up really fast from 15 to 18 in a very mature way. Now, there's a next phase of maturity that I'm hitting which is, be less mature! You know? How important it is to not stress so much about yourself and not take yourself too seriously, and realize what's goofy about you."
Also in the eclectic mix is Harris, who once worked in a fish factory and aspired to become a soccer player. Now he's one of the highest-paid DJs in the world, collaborating with the likes of Ariana Grande, Rihanna, John Legend, Nicki Minaj, Gwen Stefani and many more.
Other highlights include Marsh- mello, who dons a helmet resembling a marshmallow while playing electronic dance music; Cara, a Canadian singer-songwriter; and Rexha, a singer-songwriter who recently teamed up with Cardi B, Charli XCX and Rita Ora for the single "Girls." O
