The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is sure to make waves this year. The 61st annual event, which showcases more than 90 acres of seafaring wonders, is set for Oct. 28 through Nov. 1.
The exhibit space, which comprises more than seven waterfront locales in Fort Lauderdale, offers all things nautical: more than 1,300 boats of all shapes and sizes, marine products and accessories, apparel, fashion accessories and more. This year, with COVID-19 taking center stage, organizers are deep cleaning before, during and after each day of the outdoor event. Face masks are required, and guests will have temperature checks upon entry.
Almost 1,000 vendors will be stationed in locations accessible by 14 entrances. Organizers suggest a visit to Superyacht Village, showcasing some of the world’s most spectacular superyachts and exhibits by renowned shipyards along with other luxury items for the superyacht lifestyle.
Seminars, including the Kid’s Fishing Clinic, will also be available during the five-day event. Conservationist Guy Harvey will be in attendance, along with new T-shirts designed exclusively for the boat show.
For the ultimate experience, get tickets to the Windward VIP Club, where you’ll have access to an open bar, gourmet food, water views and a private concierge who can book solo appointments with marine manufacturers and yacht brokers.
