It’s apropos that Pitbull’s summer tour is dubbed Pitbull: Can’t Stop Us Now.
The Grammy winner has been a force to reckon with since he shared his music more than two decades ago.
His latest tour makes a stop at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood on Oct. 19 and 20 at 8 p.m. Not only is he a talented musician — with 25 million album sales — he helped establish Sports Leadership Arts and Management (SLAM!) tuition-free public charter schools across the country (including Boca Raton and Miami), was honored by the United Nations General Assembly on behalf of Clean Water Here and is the co-owner of NASCAR racing team Trackhouse.
So, we weren’t surprised to read this post on his Facebook page: “the biggest risk you can take is not taking one.”
As for his tour? There have been many positive reviews, including this one in the News & Observer: “Pitbull (and his gigawatt smile) stuck to the hits. The result was a breakneck romp through nearly two decades of club favorites and Latin hip-hop chart-toppers.”
Also known as “Mr. Worldwide,” the first generation Cuban American rapper dropped the single “Can’t Stop Us Now,” which features country-rock superstar Zac Brown in April and plans to release a new album this year.
