It’s that time again – the weekend that boaters look forward to all year.
That’s when they reel it in at the Palm Beach International Boat Show in downtown West Palm Beach. This year’s extravaganza – the organization’s 34th – takes place March 28-31.
On display: more than $1.2 billion worth of boats and accessories, including hundreds of vessels ranging from inflatables and runabouts to cruisers and super-yachts nearly 300 feet in length.
There will also be free boating-themed seminars, including fishing clinics for kids ages 4-16, and 14 IGFA School of Sportfishing workshops where participants can learn everything from how to fish South Florida inlets and jetties to where to find the best big-game fishing in Florida and the Bahamas.
Plus, attendees will discover plenty of exhibits and vendors offering every kind of nautical paraphernalia you can imagine, from clothing to accent pieces for your home or boat. (There are even anchors for sale.)
Topping off the event will be live music and refreshments (on a floating cocktail lounge, of course) along with demos of smaller watercraft, including electric surfboards, paddleboards, Hobie Cats, kayaks and more. And don’t miss the jetpack demos, featuring female world champion flyboarder Kristen Smoyer.
The Palm Beach International Boat Show is truly fun from bow to stern.
