Dessert enthusiasts are in for a treat at Miami’s newest sweet sensation, Museum of Ice Cream, which opened on Sept. 6 at Miami Worldcenter. This immersive, multisensory exhibit promises a delightful blend of fun, education and tasty indulgence for anyone with a sweet tooth.
Building on the success of its 2018 pop-up at Faena Bazaar, Museum of Ice Cream’s permanent location unfolds across 14,000 square feet and two stories of pink splendor with customized tributes to Miami’s vibrant spirit, culture and deep love for ice cream. Inside, visitors can explore over 14 interactive displays, including the first-ever retro Cream Liner, The Hall of Freezers and the iconic Sprinkle Pool, all while savoring and learning about the history of the frozen delight.
With additional locations in New York City, Chicago, Austin and Singapore, Miami’s Museum of Ice Cream stands out as the most innovative. “Inspired by the music, culture and being able to collaborate with so many incredible organizations like Style Saves and Groot Hospitality, I knew when I had the chance to bring the Museum to a permanent home, that I would only do so if I was able to push the boundaries of our previous designs and make this the creamiest, most colorful and tastiest museum we have ever designed. We have worked to bring more sensory elements from taste, to touch and smell,” says co-founder and co-CEO Maryellis Bunn.
