Looking for something to brighten your holidays? Check out the Holiday Fantasy of Lights in Coconut Creek and Zoo Lights at Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society in West Palm Beach.
The fantasy of lights drive-thru illumination – a mainstay for a quarter of a century – returns to Tradewinds Park from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. through Jan. 2.
The website says it best: “Christmas drive-thru Holiday Fantasy of Lights is back to brighten your dreary 2020. Our safe, affordable family event is the perfect way to help families boost their holiday enjoyment during these unprecedented times.”
What can you expect? Three miles of more than 65 larger-than-life displays and illuminated trees. Old favorites will be there as well as some new displays. Want to ramp things up a bit? Purchase a pair of 3-D glasses at the entrance.
Part of the proceeds from the event will be given to Gilda’s Club South Florida, which helps men, women and children impacted by cancer.
The Palm Beach Zoo will also light up the night with more than 1 million eco-friendly lights designed to bedazzle. Head for the zoo from 6-9 p.m. several nights through Jan. 9 to experience the glow. There will also be themed displays winding from the entrance through the Florida Wetlands, Tropics of the Americas and Asia as well as special animal encounters.
