Florida’s largest waterfront music festival, held annually since 1982 in West Palm Beach, is back!
According to the festival’s website, over the past ten years, SunFest has helped local nonprofit organizations raise more than $800,000, has awarded $40,000 in college scholarships and has welcomed over a thousand kids with special needs through special activities, gifts, music and loving attention — all while enjoying great music!
“For nearly 40 years, this springtime soundtrack set along the historic, palm-lined West Palm Beach waterfront hasn’t missed a beat with its variety of performances and more-than-just-music offerings for sunseekers to reunite with friends,” notes the website. This year’s lineup includes, The Chainsmokers, Flo Rida, Anabel Englund, Jack Johnson, Ziggy Marley, ALO, The Killers, All Time Low, Charlotte Sands, Surfer Gril and more.
Activities, better known as SunFestivities, abound along with The Eatery, featuring over 100 food items to choose from.
“SunFest has become a very unique time of year that brings people from all walks of life and all ages together in an unforgettable setting. It’s more than a music festival in a tropical paradise — it’s a place where old friends can reconnect and resurface cherished memories,” says SunFest Executive Director Paul Jamieson.
SunFest will take place at the Intracoastal Waterway in downtown West Palm Beach, May 5-7.
