Lindsay Butzer, DVM
Animal Hospital
Lindsay Butzer, DVM, eats, sleeps and breathes animals. She is a veterinarian at Clint Moore Animal Hospital in Boca Raton. She hosts a pet-focused YouTube channel. She creates TikTok and Instagram posts of pets. She is a medical reviewer for PetMeds.
She breeds ragdoll cats. And she shows a rare Lapponian Herder which is a Finnish shepherd type of dog.
The hospital, located on five acres, was founded by Butzer’s father, Brian Butzer, DVM. The team provides medical and surgical care along with personalized service for all your pet’s veterinary health-care needs. They have seven exam rooms, a surgical suite with a prep room, an operating room, wards for sick animals, isolation areas and indoor/outdoor runs.
“I’m honest and transparent with pet owners,” says Dr. Butzer. “I want to give them the best option for the pet at the time.”
Their pet resort and boarding facility can hold up to 100 dogs. During hurricanes, animals are sheltered in a safe, concrete building with generators. “I love being there for family pets and families,” says Dr. Butzer, who sleeps at the facility to care for the animals during hurricanes.
The staff of 70 consists of five veterinarians, kennel caregivers, receptionists and groomers. The general practice is accessible and open until 8 p.m. And thanks to the hospital’s large facility, Dr. Butzer can send your pet for grooming or other services on the spot. She also encourages people to get another pet if they’ve lost one. “I’m a shoulder to lean on and help guide them to their next one.”
Her social media outlets boast fun, family-friendly educational content. She’s at drlindsaybutzer on YouTube, dr_lindsaybutzer on TikTok and lindsaybutzerdvm on Instagram.
You’ll find how-to-videos about pet disease, cute breeds, tutorials and more. “People drive to see me and to feature their pets on my TikTok platform.”
Dr. Butzer was born and raised in Boca Raton. She earned her bachelor’s at Colorado State University. She graduated with honors from the DVM program at Ross University. She did her clinical year at Tufts University. She and her husband live in Boca Raton with their six dogs. She is in remission and on maintenance treatments for leukemia, which she was diagnosed with in 2019. She’s simply an all-around warrior.
