At Custom Artisan Cabinetry, it’s a family affair. Run by the Barni family, every aspect of CAC gets a member of the family involved, and they treat customers like family, too.

It all started with a dream 35 years ago in Paraguay of exporting high-quality furniture designed by Ramon, a second-generation artisan, to the United States.
“I moved with my five children to a new country in a new market, and I stood behind the dream of my husband to do the cabinetry and open a furniture store,” says Beatriz Barni.
Sons Enzo, Jose and Paolo are taking over leadership in management, production and sales, and daughters Sara Maria and Maria Alejandra have been responsible for the company’s success from the beginning, when they started out cleaning the showroom.
“Later, Sara took over customer service, and Maria in marketing,” Barni says. “We are who we are today not only because of the artisan and business skills of our men, but because of Sara Maria and Maria Alejandra, who were always readily available to serve our family and clients with love.”
Through them, CAC developed a reputation for meticulous attention to customer service and design.
The company continues to handle specialty, custom-made, high-end entertainment centers, shelving and cabinets for any room in a home or office as well as design consultation, lighting, hardware and finishes.
Jose and Ramon still hand-sketch designs for clients, and carpenters and installers are employed in-house to make everything to each client’s exact wishes.
