Raul J. Rodriguez, M.D., founded the Delray Center for Healing in 2003, opening additional locations in Boca Raton in 2019 and Jacksonville in 2020.
The Delray Center is designed to facilitate the integration of all therapeutic elements that optimize mental health treatment and outcomes. Over the last decade, the focus of the center has increasingly shifted toward more challenging cases, especially mood disorders and treatment-resistant depression.
“Almost half of our new patients believe they are hopeless cases when they first come in,” Dr. Rodriguez says. “We give them new hope that an effective solution does exist for treating their severe depression.”
He has developed comprehensive and highly specialized outpatient programs that are geared towards these more difficult cases.
“Many of the hard cases require a creative, individualized, out-of- the-box approach to get the patient better,” he says.
One of his most effective approaches is the simultaneous combination of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS),
Photobiomudulation of the brain, intravenous Ketamine infusions, Neurofeedback, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), all guided by Brain Network Analytic (BNA) sequential brain mappings to identify target areas and monitor progress.
“We practice the art of medicine to a degree that sharpens the very cutting edge of science,” Dr. Rodriguez says.
The Delray Center also incorporates holistic methods such as temperature contrast therapy (infrared sauna & cold plunge), red light therapy, acupuncture, nutrition, yoga, fitness, meditation, IV vitamin infusions, IV NAD+ infusions and massage. This advanced combination of treatments addresses challenging conditions from all the necessary angles. “My goal is to solve the complex puzzle of each patient’s depressive syndrome so they can enjoy life again,” says Dr. Rodriguez. The Delray Center also offers telehealth services for the entire state of Florida. Telehealth services at the Delray Center include psychiatry and medication management, as well as individual, couples, family and DBT therapy.
