Each year, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County hosts Women Build, which brings women together to raise funds and work alongside Habitat families to build and repair homes in Palm Beach County. This year, Julie Peyton, Robyn Raphael-Dynan, and Danielle Rosse are helping lead this fun annual event to make a difference in their community.
“You’re talking about three powerhouse women,” says Julia Murphy, Chief Advancement Officer for Habitat for Humanity of GPBC. “They give so much of themselves — not just to Habitat, but also to other organizations. They balance their careers, raise families and give back in ways we haven’t really seen. They are redefining what philanthropy looks like.”
Peyton, Raphael-Dynan and Rosse are everyday people giving back in extraordinary ways.
“They’re not just contributing time or money,” Murphy explains. “They’re using their voices to shine a light on the critical need for affordable housing in our county.”
A Habitat board member, Raphael-Dynan and long-time supporter, Rosse are Women Build 2025 Legacy Committee members while Peyton is serving as the Women Build 2025 co-chair. Together, they seek to rally women from diverse industries, backgrounds and cultures to form a collective of strength, fostering mutual support and empowerment.
Women Build, as well as events leading up to it, aim to engage women — and men — who want to make a difference in their community.
“It’s more than just an opportunity to get involved for a day,” says Murphy. “You’ll have the chance to network, socialize, and make a life-long impact with like-minded people who are committed to helping families build stability, independence and a brighter future through safe and affordable housing.”
Murphy emphasizes that there are various ways to participate, even beyond working on the job site.
“If hands-on building isn’t your thing, join us at our events, cocktails parties, share a meal, hear from our homeowners and learn about the work we’re doing. There are countless ways to get involved and help us change lives.”
