Elyssa Kupferberg
Financial Services
The life of Elyssa Kupferberg, Director/Investments with Kupferberg Wealth Management Group of Stifel in Palm Beach and Boca Raton, revolves around her clients. “Clients know I care about their well-being both financially and emotionally,” she says. “One leads into the other. If they’re financially stable, they’re more likely to be emotionally secure.”
She works with high-net-worth individuals and their families, CEOs and business owners. She uses her extensive knowledge and experience to help them manage their assets, including profit-sharing plans and retirement funds, assists with pre-transaction planning before selling their businesses and implements charitable giving plans. Kupferberg has a multifaceted background in financial services spanning more than 35 years, including experience in corporate lending and private banking while with Chase Manhattan Bank (now JPMorgan Chase). She was also with BNY Mellon and Barclays Wealth and Investment Management, Americas, which was acquired by Stifel. She is securities licensed in 16 states.
She was named to Forbes’ Best-in-State Women Wealth Advisors list in 2023 and 2024, Forbes’ Best-in-State Wealth Advisors list in 2023, and AdvisorHub’s Advisors to Watch list in 2023. “I’m a good listener who uncovers clients’ true concerns,” she says. “They share their goals, family issues, and life’s challenges.”
She earned a dual degree with her B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School and a B.A. in Communications from Annenberg School of The University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in Banking and Finance from Hofstra University. “I’m not focused on selling anything,” she says. “I ensure investments are appropriate based on my clients’ risk tolerance, income needs, and lifestyle.”
Philanthropy and community service are integral parts of her life. She’s been involved with too many organizations to name and received numerous recognition awards for her service. Currently, she has roles with FAU’s College of Social Work and Criminal Justice, the Adolph & Rose Levis Jewish Community Center, and the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County (JFSPBC). She was campaign chair and currently serves as chair of Women’s Philanthropy for JFSPBC. “I’m personally involved in what’s important to me. My clients share similar values,” she says. “We have common goals and a commitment to improving others’ lives. That’s why I relate so well to my clients.” Kupferberg loves her chosen profession, and her passion for her work shines through.
