Cancer Alliance of Help & Hope’s 2022 “Shop The Day Away Luncheon™” was another sold-out event with nearly 500 supporters in attendance at The Breakers Palm Beach on Feb. 24 featuring keynote speaker supermodel Christie Brinkley.

The event began with a silent auction, featuring more than 500 new luxury designer items from the world’s finest brands, including Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Brunello Cucinelli. Following the silent auction, guests enjoyed lunch and a video about the work of Cancer Alliance followed by a live auction.

Brinkley took the stage during the event’s finale. Brinkley shared fun, exciting and heartfelt anecdotes about her life as an American model, actress, entrepreneur and mother.

“Christie Brinkley showed such warmth, honesty and humor as she shared with our guests some stories about her incredible career,” said Stanton Collemer, CEO of CAHH. “We are so grateful to all of our supporters, sponsors and key leadership who helped with this fantastic event. This is our major fundraiser of the year as we look to continue to provide the unique and much-needed programs and services for local families impacted by cancer.”

Co-Chairs of this event were Janet Levy and Soula Rifkin and the Honorary Chair was Cameron Neth. The 2022 “Shop The Day Away Luncheon™” raised $850,000 to support Cancer Alliance of Help & Hope’s (CAHH) mission of assisting the local children, adults and families affected by cancer and the subsequent bills they acquire during the treatment and recovery process.

The Chairs were supported by the Cancer Alliance Chairwomen’s Leadership Group, a distinguished group of accomplished individuals who have joined forces to support the mission of Cancer Alliance of Help & Hope in supporting local cancer patients in their time of need.
