A Special Celebration

JARC Florida, a nonprofit, nonsectarian organization that provides programs and services to educate and empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is hosting its 36th Annual Gala at 6 p.m. March 13 at Boca West Country Club.

The event, which will be held in the Club’s Luxury Outdoor Tent, will also be live streamed for virtual attendees.

With Cynthia and Arthur Schechner serving as gala chairs, entertainer Sam Simon will be the master of ceremonies for the fifth year offering magic, comedy and hypnosis in a one-of-a-kind performance. A silent and live auction will take place, co-chaired by Corie Kaplan and Jill Tompkins, and the winner of the Wonderous Raffle Prize, sponsored by Elizabeth & Peter Levine, will also be announced. 

“The JARC Gala is a wonderful celebration of our JARC clients, their families, our staff, generous donors and volunteers, and our partners that make it all possible,” said Jeffrey Zirulnick, Chief Executive Officer for JARC Florida.

JARC’s 36th Annual Gala will raise money to support JARC FL and its essential programs and services including the Adult Day Training Program, Community Works Program and ADAPT (Adults Aging in Place Together). Last year’s event raised more than $800,000. Zirulnick says the organization’s goal is to surpass that number this year.
