All Aboard!

Toasts, Tastes & Trolleys Event To Benefit The Boca Raton Historical Society & Museum

The Boca Raton Historical Society & Museum’s 8th annual Toasts, Tastes & Trolleys event will be on Oct. 4.

This festive evening will afford guests the opportunity to enjoy a fun trolley tour of downtown Boca Raton while visiting a variety of restaurants and venues, where they will sample a wide array of culinary offerings and libations. All proceeds will benefit the society and museum.

The event will begin and end at the Boca Raton Resort & Club. Guests will start their evening with champagne and hors d’oeuvres at the resort’s Cloister Garden before boarding a trolley to kick off their tour. After guests enjoy dinner-by-the-bite and signature cocktails at a variety of Boca Raton restaurants and venues, the trolleys will return guests to the resort. The evening will conclude with dessert, dancing and a cash bar.

“We started this event to show off our beautiful and historic city,” says Mary Csar, executive director, Boca Raton Historical Society & Museum. “Not only is Toasts, Tastes & Trolleys a fun way to experience some of Boca Raton’s history, it’s a wonderful opportunity to learn about the future of our city by visiting a variety of destinations, including several restaurants, the Boca Raton Resort & Club and other local businesses.”

The Boca Raton Historical Society & Museum is a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to preserving the past to enrich the future. Now in its 47th year, it actively promotes historic preservation and education through its archival services, guided tours and educational programs. O
