Chris Evert Celebrates 30 Years Of Giving With Pro-Celebrity Tennis Classic

One of the longest-running charity events held in South Florida by a former professional athlete – the Chris Evert Pro-Celebrity Tennis Classic presented by Chase Private Client – returns for its 30th year Nov. 22-24.

Over the years, the event has raised more than $25 million, including $800,000 in 2018. The funds are distributed through the Ounce of Prevention Fund of Florida and the Drug Abuse Foundation of Palm Beach County.

A highlight of the 30th anniversary will be the annual black-tie Pro-Celebrity Gala at the Boca Raton Resort & Club on Nov. 23. The evening begins with cocktails, followed by dinner; live and silent auctions; and live music featuring one of the most successful entertainers of all time, Barry Gibb.

The three-day Pro-Celebrity charity event also includes tennis at the Delray Beach Tennis Center on Nov. 23 & 24. Celebrities confirmed to participate include actor Chris Noth (“Sex and the City”), TV personality Carson Kressley (“Queer Eye for the Straight Guy”), comedian Jon Lovitz (“Saturday Night Live”), “American Idol” winner David Cook, actor Shawn Hatosy (“Animal Kingdom”), actor Tate Donovan (“The Man in The High Castle”), actor Jamie McShane (“Bloodline”), three-time Indy 500 champion Hélio Castroneves and actress Maeve Quinlan (“The Bold and the Beautiful”). Tennis pros confirmed to play alongside Evert include Hall of Famer Martina Navratilova and Luke Jensen.
