JAFCO To Host 13th Annual In My Shoes Luncheon
On Oct. 19, JAFCO is hosting its 13th annual In My Shoes Luncheon at Boca West Country Club. This special luncheon recognizes families in the community who are raising children with developmental disabilities and provides understanding of the challenges faced by parents and caregivers.
All proceeds from the event directly benefit the JAFCO Children’s Ability Center, which offers unique experiences for the entire family by providing child enrichment, support and strengthening, day and overnight respite and community engagement programs.
This year’s Welcome to Holland Award will be presented to Norlyn & Ed Poto for their continued dedication and support of the children and families receiving services at the Children’s Ability Center. The event begins at 10 a.m. with a boutique and silent auction, followed by the luncheon featuring a heartwarming program and a new JAFCO video presentation.
