Inspired To Thrive

West Palm Beach Library Foundation Launches New Community Group

The West Palm Beach Library Foundation (WPBLF) launched the Supporters of the West Palm Beach Library Foundation, a new community group whose mission is to build awareness for the Mandel Public Library and the Library Foundation, as well as to raise funds for the library’s programming.

The vision for its creation came from a WPBLF board retreat last fall, explains Board Chair Steve Mayans. “The Mandel Public Library enjoys deep public support, and many in our community have expressed a desire for greater engagement. We wanted to supply it,” he says.

Those interested in becoming a charter member of the new community group are invited to attend the Kickoff Reception on Thursday, Sept. 28, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Mandel Public Library.

The WPBLF raises funds for the Mandel Public Library of West Palm Beach to provide free quality programs, services and resources that enrich and strengthen its diverse community. The Foundation hopes to create an inspired community where children excel and adults thrive.
