Join The Fight Against Alzheimer’s

Brain Bowl Luncheon Fundraiser Set For April 1

The 8th Annual Brain Bowl Luncheon will be held April 1 at 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Boca West Country Club.

Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and Dementia affects each of us in our community. In Palm Beach County an estimated 1 in 3 individuals over the age of 65 is impacted with this disease. Sadly, the “Silver Tsunami” remains the only leading disease in our country that no one overcomes.

Your support will help make that no longer true!

This year’s keynote speaker, Dr. David Watson, will discuss recent developments regarding Alzheimer’s and Dementia research. A leading neuropsychologist who lost several family members to this disease, founded the nonprofit, Alzheimer’s Research and Treatment Center, where patients are tested, counseled and treated free of charge.

A brief clip from the award-winning film, “When All That’s Left is Love,” by Director Eric Gordon, will also be shown during the event.

The FUNdraising portion of the Luncheon will include local celebrities for a fashion show. Local clothing stores, En Vogue and Raise the Bar, will showcase the latest Spring trends for men and women, with commentary provided by talk show host, Arlene Herson, and Michelle Olson-Rogers, founder of ModernBocaMom.com, a lifestyle website for the stylish & modern South Florida Mom.
