Lasting Legacy

Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services Celebrates 40 Years At Annual Gala

Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services is celebrating its 40th anniversary at the JFS Annual Gala, chaired by Grand Benefactor Jill Viner, on Dec. 7 at Boca West Country Club in Boca Raton.

“As we recognize JFS as a steadfast landmark in our community for 40 years, we are proud to honor the life and legacy of our namesakes, Ruth and Norman Rales, as well as their family’s commitment to the agency,” Viner says.

Through her generosity, the gala promises to be an unparalleled experience with many surprises.

“I want this to be an unforgettable evening just as the past 40 years of JFS have been an unforgettable jewel in our community,” she says. “This promises to be an extraordinary evening that will be etched in memories long after the celebration ceases as we continue to offer help, hope and humanity throughout the community at large.”

In addition to honoring the Rales family legacy at the event, JFS will recognize Rales Humanitarian of the Year Award recipients from the past 10 years: Meryl and Ron Gallatin, Diane and Larry Feldman, Larry Phillips (z’l), Isabel and Arnie Friedman, Laurence I. Blair, Shirley and Bart Weisman, Anne and Norman Jacobson, Jane and Alan Cornell, Marilyn and Jay Weinberg, and Toby and Leon Cooperman.
